The main DREADMOOR Steam app is 3629430, developed by Dream Dock and published by Digital Vortex Entertainment. On November 2, 2026 it is still preparing for its November 9 Early Access launch. The demo and historical playtest are separate applications, so their reviews, builds and installation sizes should not be treated as the main game's figures.

Identify the correct Steam entry

DREADMOOR3629430Main game and planned Early Access release
DREADMOOR Demo5219790Separate playable sample
DREADMOOR Playtest3808110Earlier testing application

Search for the title and check the developer and publisher before choosing an entry. The application name matters as much as the artwork: related entries can use very similar promotional images.

The main page is where to follow the paid game's release status and requirements. The demo page describes the sample's own questline. A historical playtest entry can remain visible in records even after its access window has ended.

Compare the current main-game requirements

The current main-game listing specifies a 64-bit processor and operating system, Windows 10 or higher, DirectX 12 and 60 GB of available storage.

ComponentMinimumRecommended
ProcessorIntel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600Intel Core i5-12400F / AMD Ryzen 5 5600

DirectXVersion 12Version 12
Available storage60 GB60 GB

A minimum specification is not a promised frame rate, resolution or graphics preset. The requirements do not establish that every listed GPU will deliver the same image quality or performance.

Keep the storage figure attached to the main game. A demo's smaller disk requirement or a third-party depot download total measures a different thing. Neither replaces the space requested by the main store page.

Understand the demo listing

The demo takes place around a remote settlement and nearby islands. It includes exploration by boat and on foot, fishing, salvage, a local engineer and dry-dock boat work. Its own questline makes it a sample of the game's systems rather than proof that every advertised main-game feature is available in the demo.

Use the current demo listing to check whether the sample is available when you visit. Conflicting end-date information makes a permanent availability promise inappropriate.

The October announcement also addressed Steam Deck playability. It said the demo could be played on the device while noting that DREADMOOR had not received an official Steam Deck Verified rating. That is different from a performance benchmark, a guarantee for every configuration, or a native Linux release.

Read languages and audio separately

The announced text languages are English, French, Italian, German, Spanish from Spain, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Polish, Russian and Japanese.

Professional full audio is announced for English and Russian. The other listed languages use localized text and subtitles with English or Russian audio. A language appearing in the interface column therefore does not mean that language has a dubbed voice track.

When a localized store page brings one language to the top of the table, read across that row instead of assuming every feature is supported. Interface, subtitles and full audio are different categories.

Keep reviews attached to the right app

A demo can receive public feedback while the main game remains unreleased. Those reviews describe the demo and the build the reviewer played. They are not a launch review score for the paid game.

Likewise, a playtest's concurrent-player figure or a demo's depot update is not evidence that Early Access has already opened. Check the application name and date whenever two Steam-related pages appear to disagree.

For a purchase or installation decision, use the main listing's current state, your regional store's applicable price and the requirements for the application you actually intend to install.
